As part of her course, Gabriela completed 45 days of placement at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, focusing on electrical engineering. The experience gave her the opportunity to understand how engineering operates in real-world environments and to apply the skills she developed during her studies.

Her programme also included two significant projects: the Occupational Specialism Project (OSP) and the Employer Set Project (ESP), both of which helped her strengthen her problem-solving, teamwork, and design skills.
